Gluten-Free, Vegan, Peanut Blossoms

Because Grandma made the best!




Ingredients: 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup Vegan butter/margarine, softened 2 eggs/ egg substitute 3 cups GF flour 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder Approx. 90 Kisses, Chocolate stars or Reeses peanut butter cups (Vegan)

Directions: Heat oven to 375* Beat sugar, peanut butter, and eggs on medium speed. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder. Shape dough in 1 inch balls and place approx 2 inches part onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min until lightly brown, then immediately press candy piece into the center of each cookie, remove and cool on wire racks.


NOTE: Usually the recipe calls for creamy peanut butter however with the madness and the oven getting its work out I just used crunchy peanut butter because its what we had and honestly it is all on personal preference, the creamy peanut butter is definitely easier to manipulate when making your cookie balls but in the end its all on taste.
