Gluten-Free, Vegan, Lazy Sundays Homemade Caramel Popcorn
As the weather begins to chill we have the perfect treat for your lazy sundays, so grab a great movie and turn on that fireplace!
Homemade Caramel Popcorn 3 qts. Popped corn 1 c. Packed brown sugar 1/2 c Karo corn syrup 1/2 c. Vegan Butter 1/2 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Baking soda In saucepan combine butter, salt, karo syrup, & brown sugar. Stir constantly until mixture starts to boil. If you want softer caramel immediately remove from heat once it starts boiling, if you would like a harder caramel similar to cracker jacks let the mixture boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour over popped corn and gently mix. [If you like chocolate you can melt some and drizzle over the top to add something a little extra.]
